     AS OF OCTOBER 2024 - VILLAGE HALL HOURS: MONDAY-THRUSDAY 8:00 AM TO 5:30 PM FRIDAY - CLOSED.     Tax collection begins June 1, 2025, and continues up to and including JANUARY 31, 2026, in person at Village Hall, or postmarked for the end of the month to avoid penalties. A 5% charge will be added for the first month after July 1, 2025, and an additional 1% every month or fraction thereafter.      September tax payments have a 7% penalty, October tax payments have an 8% penalty, November tax payments have a 9% penalty, December tax payments have a 10% penalty, and January tax payments have an 11% penalty.      On February 1st, the taxes receive a 12% penalty and are transferred to Putnam County.
