Brewster Fall Festival

Brewster, NY – August 30, 2022

The Town of Southeast Cultural Arts Coalition invites all to the 2022 Brewster Fall Festival on Sunday, September 25th, from 11 am to 4 pm. The festival, formerly known as Founders Day, celebrates its 30th anniversary. It will feature live entertainment on two outdoor stages, kids’ games, a bouncy house, plenty of food, and vendors of all kinds, including artists, craftspersons, authors, community services, not-for-profit organizations, and local businesses.

This free one-day event will be a great opportunity for visitors and residents alike to mingle and enjoy a fantastic fall day in Brewster.  DJ and Master of Ceremonies Corey Gardner will present music by Genevieve Faivre, Artie Tobia Band, and the Traveling Riverside Blues Band, playing a wide range of genres at the Band Stage Venue between the library and Old Town Hall.  Master of Ceremonies, Frankie Becerra will present professional and local performers at the Community Stage in front of Bob’s Diner.  Attendees will be encouraged to step into the Southeast Old Town Hall Theater at 67 Main Street to view its glory and the restoration progress and to experience an “A-Maize-ing Maze” being created for the festival.

In its fourth year of organizing the event, the Cultural Arts Coalition is invested in making our community a great place to live, work, and play. The net income from the festival will be used to support ongoing arts programming in the Studio Around the Corner, the Old Town Hall Theater, and around town.  The Coalition sincerely appreciates assistance from this year’s sponsors, including NYSEG, Open Door Family Medical Center, Guardian Veterinary Specialists, Curaleaf, and Harvest Moon.

“The Cultural Arts Coalition has plans to bring even more entertainment, education, and art to our community,” explains Judy Marano, Cultural Arts Coalition President. “Events like the Brewster Fall Festival showcase our community and demonstrate the value of having a cultural hub in the heart of Brewster Village.”

The festival will stretch along Main Street from the train station to Wilkes Avenue.  Free parking will be available at the Tristate Commuter Lot on Park Street and Morningthorpe Ave and in the MetroNorth parking spots along Railroad Avenue.

Visit us on Facebook at Brewster Fall Festival or www.BrewsterFallFestival.com for more details.  If interested in becoming a vendor or sponsor for the festival, please note that the deadline has been extended through Monday, September 12.  We anticipate the event will attract upwards of 4000 people.
