PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that the Board of Trustees of the Village of Brewster will hold a Public Hearing on Local Law No. 3 of 2021 – This local law intention is to request that the NYS Office of Cannabis Management and/or the NYS Cannabis Control Board prohibit the issuance or establishment of cannabis retail dispensary licenses and on-site consumption licenses within the jurisdiction of the Village of Brewster. Copies of the proposed local law will be available on the Village website (see below) and at Village Hall. The Public Hearing will take place during the Village Board Meeting of July 7, 2021, at 7:30 P.M at Village Hall, 50 Main Street, Brewster, NY 10509. Anyone wishing to speak may do so as time permits.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Brewster will hold a Public Hearing pursuant to Village Law Section 7-712a(7) and Village of Brewster Code Section 263-26(F) to hear the following application for 22 Eastview Avenue, 67.26-2-22. The applicant seeks a variance from the Village of Brewster Zoning Schedule for the premises located at 22 Eastview Avenue, Village Tax Map #67.26-2-22, which is located in an (R) Single Family District. A 20 (twenty) foot front-yard setback is required in said District under the Zoning Schedule. The applicant seeks relief from the Zoning Schedule to permit a 9.02-foot front-yard setback for the right side of the property and an 8.96-foot front-yard setback for the left side of the property at the aforesaid premises. VILLAGE COURTS CLOSED 04/09/2021

The Village Court Offices will be closed on April 9, 2021 and will not reopen until Monday April 12, 2021 at 9:00 AM. If you have any questions you may call 845-279-4020.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that the Board of Trustees of the VILLAGE OF BREWSTER will hold a Public Hearing on WEDNESDAY APRIL 14, 2021, 7:30 P.M. virtually through Zoom, the Meeting ID is 207 812 8623 and the phone number to call in to is 1-929-205-6099, to take and hear comments on the 2021-2022 Budget as proposed by the Board of Trustees. A copy of the proposed budget will be available for review by the public, at the office of the Village Clerk and on our website five (5) days prior to the public hearing. All persons wishing to be heard on the question of the adoption of the tentative budget will be provided an opportunity, as time permits.

Village Offices Closing at 2 PM on 4/2/2021

The Village of Brewster Offices will be closing at 2:00 PM on Friday, April 2, 2021. Normal hours will resume on Monday April 5, 2021. The Village Office will reopen at 8:30 AM until 4:00 PM and the Village Court will reopen at 9:00 AM until 2 PM.
